LBI Surfing Junior Instructor In Training
Our JCIT program at LBI Surfing provides teens an opportunity to gain valuable work experience while having an amazing summer on the beach in LBI! Our JCIT members learn the value of responsibility, leadership development, and job training, as well as ocean safety and community service. The opportunity prepares teens to become LBI Surfing instructors or staff members, as well as productive members of their communities. Because this is a long-term skill-building training position, participants will not be paid.
Limited Availability!
- Candidates will be interviewed at the end of June. Please discuss job requirements with your child before enrollment to make sure that they are qualified.
- Must have experience surfing
- Must have a wetsuit
- Must be a good swimmer
- Must be good with children
- Must have be responsible
- Counselors and JCIT must arrive 20 minutes before camp and stay 20 minutes after camp.
